FAQ

What are the months of operation?

Our platform tents are available for 1 or more nights from June 15 through September 15, beginning in 2009.

What can I expect as a guest?
You may design your stay to suit your interests. There are many wonderful seasonal activities on and off the farm, which we can help plan. Or you can simply "hang" and enjoy the peace and quiet of this retreat. For children, we offer a young farmers program for families staying two nights or more.

What are the accommodations?
The 12 x 14 canvas platform tents have a queen bed with night stand, chairs, and lanterns. We have bunk bed cots for additional children. Community toilet/shower and cooking facilities are available at the barn, a short walking distance from the tents.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in time is 3 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM.

How do I make a reservation?
You may make a reservation by sending us an e-mail or calling us at 425.333.0833.

What are the rates?

$150/night for 1-2 adults

$20/night for children under 12

Rates include gourmet breakfast. Additional meals are available upon request at additional charge.

Do I need to make a deposit?
A deposit equivalent to one night's stay is required at the time of your reservation. The deposit is applied to the last night's stay. Deposit may be made with VISA, MC, or Discover Card. A confirmation will be sent upon receipt of deposit. Payment for the remainder of your stay is due upon arrival.

What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Deposits are refunded with a notice of seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival.

What meals are included in the farm stay?
A gourmet breakfast, prepared and served in the outdoor kitchen, is available between 8-10 AM (or other pre-arranged times). To the extent possible, our ingredients are organic, seasonal, and local. A typical breakfast includes coffee or tea, juice, farm-fresh eggs, oatmeal, pastries, bacon/sausage, and fruit. Upon request and with an additional charge, we offer lunch and dinner. You may also purchase produce from the farm to prepare your own meals.

Are children welcome?
The farm is an enchanting place for children. And our young farmers program is designed for children of all ages. There are many potential dangers on the farm for the very young and parents must supervise their little ones at all times. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult while on the farm. Parental discretion is advised for children over 12 years.

What activities are available on the farm?
Just a few of the many things you can do! Feed the animals, collect eggs, harvesting, planting, cheese making, preserving, wine tasting, bird watching, star gazing, and horse-drawn carriage rides.

What activities are available in the area?
Canoeing and river tubing on the Tolt and Snoqualmie Rivers, hiking, biking, golf, antiquing, shopping, wine touring, farmers markets, Snoqualmie Falls, and Seattle is just 45 minutes from the farm. We have information on many local events and can help you plan a variety of outings.
